G13H5R VB
Our absolute lightweight
The G13H5R VB is the lightest rechargeable insect tracking transmitter from a European manufacturer and was developed specifically for the Asian hornet (Vespa velutina nigrithorax). It transmits in the 148 or 150 MHz frequency band approved by the relevant network authorities, which allows for long reception ranges thanks to the comparatively low frequency. The transmitter has an eyelet for attachment, but can also be glued in place.
The transmitter offers an operating time of at least 5 hours, thus enabling targeted tracking of insects. Due to its low weight, good flight performance is guaranteed, particularly for the Vespa Velutina, as it is hardly affected by the transmitter. The transmitter is activated when removed from the charging station.
| Weight | Lifetime | Power | BpM | Pulse length |
| ≤ 0,13 g | ≥ 5 hours | ~ 100 µW | ~ 60 bpm | ~ 20 ms |
Charging Station
The charging station allows up to five transmitters to be charged simultaneously. The charging time is 24 hours, providing at least five hours of operating time. If the transmitter is charged for 24 hours on several occasions, the operating time increases slightly. The transmitters are deactivated in the charging station whilst the charging voltage is applied. The charging station's battery can be easily replaced by the user.
Beekeeper-Set
When putting this kit together, we worked closely with beekeepers and carefully observed which components best help them achieve the desired results. The kit consists of the following items:
5x G13H5R VB
1x G13H5R VB charging station
1x Moxon direction-finding antenna
1x Plecso VV receiver
Unfortunately, this set is not yet available in Switzerland. We are working on it.
Pest Control Set
Professional feedback from our customers is very important to us. We have listened and selected components that best help professional nest removers to carry out jobs quickly and successfully. The set consists of the following items:
5x G13H5R VB
1x G13H5R VB charging station
1x HB9CV + pistol grip
1x TR-8 BNC cable
1x TR-8

Shipping time
The delivery time depends on when the order is placed. Early orders in the winter months are prioritised. Short-term orders in the summer half-year, during the season, usually meet with high demand while production capacities remain the same. Please contact us and we will find a solution.
Storage
Dry, dark and cool are the best storage conditions for our transmitters. The transmitters can easily last a year in the refrigerator. Please ensure that the environment is dry. Please do not store the transmitters in the freezer compartment, as freezing temperatures will damage the batteries.
Duration of storage
Our transmitters can be stored for up to one year under the right conditions (cool and dark). Exceptions to this are the G17D3 and the G19D4. Their recommended storage period is 6 months. These can be stored, but will lose their service life.
Autom. Telemetry
Our transmitters are suitable for a wide range of applications in the 150 MHz band. If the receiving systems record in the 150 MHz band, they should be compatible in principle. In individual cases, compatibility must be clarified with the manufacturer of the receiving system.
